i googled after reading your post and indeed there are people who got the credit. but chase do have the info (desc and wrong mcc code*) to identify this as a giftcard purchase, so there will always be some risk
*the mcc code for stubhub giftcard is 6540, while stubhub's mcc code is likely 7922
