So I hope to have a data point on this after this evening.

I have been through the cycle back and forth with both Chase / OpenTable on getting my Chase card added to unlock Visa/Chase reserve tables. Long story short, though I have a US Issued card but a non-US billing address; OpenTable is lazy in its verification and does it on billing zip which doesn't work. However they still take my credit card holds with my old US Billing Zip.....

I spoke to a chase representative today and was told my card does not have to be linked, but I do have to pay with the PHYSICAL card, not from Apple/Google Wallet.

Given I'm dining at a chase restaurant this evening (Momofuku Noodle Bar) I hope to report back how long the credit takes to hit.
