I saw some reviews that there are rooms without window... is that true? I'm on my own so 1 queen is adequate for me.
I'm happy with tea and toast for breakfast, but others like something more substantial. While the two hotels don't offer an Intercontinental-type spread in the morning, it's a step above HIX breakfasts. They do omlettes to order, there are hot things like indian dishes as well as noodles, cakes breads, cakes, yogurts and fruit .... and yes toast

. So depending on your morning appetite, it could be well worth 750 points (which I reckon is only a couple of quid). But GO EARLY - or late: the restaurants can get rammed at peak times.
I believe there are internal rooms in the south hotel, but the north is designed quite differently. In any case, as a platinum member you have some bargaining power at the reception desk, and I doubt they'd consign you to a room without windows.
