Sorry, I’m still kind of a newish diamond, maybe three years in, but by card spend mostly, though probably more nights recently. Have a conference coming up and I’m booking two extra rooms for my colleagues under the same reservation but three rooms. I assume that whatever points I would get, I’m gonna get triple? Also, is it reasonable to assume that if I’m diamond for 10 years I’m diamond for life even though a lot of it’s my credit card spend?

And the last doofus question, I’ve earned two free nights. Can those really be used anywhere? I mean, let’s say I was looking at a night at the Waldorf for Astoria in New York City, I can literally use that night there? It just seems too good to be true.
