I had a similar situation last year - left late from GVA (as always) and landed in ZRH 15 minutes before take-off time for YUL-bound LX in F.
The MDC on GVA flight actually told me that for me, since I was connecting to F - my connection was guaranteed.
A car was waiting, a stressed out driver took me to the F passport control, up off/in, then drove me to an entrance and staircase that led to the boarding gate - loved it!
