Actually ended up doing 5 nights. Enjoyed the property - great staff, and room was nice. Pools were good, kids liked the slides, and the beach and swimming/snorkeling on the giant shelf was great. What a gorgeous place and easy in and out from Tokyo. Food situation is mediocre (as expected) - especially when you have 8 people to deal with (2 families). Chilis, Outback, and CPK lol. We hit Roys before the other fam arrived which was the best meal of the trip unsurprisingly - bit of nostalgia as we used to live right near the original in Hawaii Kai. Otherwise just did hotel bfast (hit McDs one day as I really miss biscuits in Japan!) and lunch around the pool.

Had a car but generally wasn't really necessary - handy for loading up at KMart and Donki though. We didn't get out and explore the island. Not too much going on tourism-wise - sounds like things are still pretty depressed since covid, to the tune of 40% or so?

Anyways, would def do again, especially nice when the kids only have a week break and we don't want to drag them into a far-flung time zone on a quick turnaround.
