I don't know of any other airline that can't reissue a ticket within a couple of minutes, if that. No other airline where if there's an amount due you can't go to their airport ticket counter and pay with a credit card (can't do this at LHR T-5). Does anyone in top management at BA care or even aware? They can't even issue a boarding pass with reasonably correct information. Flew BA267 last week in Club World. Departs at 3:40 p.m. Boarding pass stated boarding begins at 2:40 p.m. (a hour before !). Got to the gate at 2:30 p.m. and not a BA agent in sight. They eventually showed up at 3:00 p.m. and boarding started at 3:10. Why would a boarding pass state boarding begins an hour in advance when it doesn't and probably never has? It's just insane how this airline is run.
Two points: 1) Did the flight actually leave on time anyway? and 2) you are assuming someone is actually in charge of running the airline!
