- The miles you can walk in IST is crazy. It's so big and spacious. I don't know how all the families and elderly make it from one gate to the next.
- I loved Sydney and it seems like the best big city to live in. Oddly there is nothing touristy that makes it worth a visit. It's just a great place to hang out.
- I managed to have a taxi driver attempt to scam me on all 6 continents!
- Kuwait was the worst city I visited. It's hot and dusty and boring. I was glad I was only there for a day.
- I was originally denied entry to Kuwait because my flight out left the next day at 12:15 am so technically I needed a hotel listed. The immigration officers were really nice and felt bad about it. I ended up using Marriott points to book a room and then cancelled it immediately.
- In Bogota I drove past an anti US demonstration. Caliente! The rest of Bogota wasn't very interesting. The food was good and the people were nice, but that's it. To be fair as an American I needed be careful where I went.
JW marriott Kuwait used to be a category 1 10 years ago when i did my mileage run there!
