Okay, I stand corrected in only the most technical sense. There are lots of corporate fine-print terms and conditions that the corporation could never enforce against an individual or small business. This is an example of that.
The lawyers who wrote the language you quote meant only for it to be used against
consumers -- and especially consumer class actions. If a business-cardholder were to sue the company for violating the regulations meant to protect consumers, the company would use the language you quoted as a defense in the case.
Still, I will not give you a hard sell on signing up for a business credit card. Leave that to the rest of us here, and we'll handle all of the sign-up bonuses, 3x travel points and the like.
