The writing has been on the wall for a while, was just a matter of time. Now ALL credit card issuers have some sort of anti-Charing policies. Yet another example (in FF World) of needing to strike while the iron is hot.
FWIW, this morning NOT all Chase Ink no-AF card applications have lifetime language so the iron may still be hot for some people. Google search on iPad right now resulted in several NLL links.
(And also another reason, even with many devaluations, why “earn and spend judiciously and SAVE” may be a more prudent strategy than “earn and burn“. I believe points and miles have actually increased in value over the past several years because acquisition opportunities have decreased and at the same time acquisition costs have increased dramatically.)
