A big word of warning for anyone with UK passports doing B2Bs at Schengen airports with no airside connections route… if you fly into an airport that’s rolling out EES but doesn’t have separate registration kiosks, it could well cause you issues. I’ve seen huge queues the last couple of weeks as everyone was being registered manually, and if you arrive behind another non-Schengen flight you’ll have zero chance of making a successful B2B. Obviously it will be easier from next summer when (hopefully) it will allow e-gates for those already registered, but in the meantime be careful.
