Various travel and finance sites seem to put the average value of a TrueBlue point at 1.35 cents, so $83 would be equivalent.
Isnt there a $100 fee for CXing a Basic fare (think its $75 for a M) pretty much KOs me CXing anything unless something popped up that makes me unable to fly, eg the DCA flight was hoping to SDC to JFK-SJU-DCA but B6 CXed that, so there was no need to stay overnight @ DCA or return right back to JFK, since the SJU-DCA would have gotten in late at night. Had a hotel cert that exps soon so used that and with the Govt Shutdown no reason to go into DC. Then the cost to get back to JFK went up alot so decided its best just to keep everything as is
