Each to their own but I'm genuinely astounded at your view here. I have given AA F a couple of chances recently but find the whole place so depressing. Perhaps the food and service on my visits were below par but still, even with top notch service I can't see it being anywhere I'd want to spend time.
If the dining tables were by the windows it would make a difference, but as it stands, no thanks.
I’ll admit I’m surprised to be writing it too, and perhaps I’m too easily pleased, but honestly it meets my needs far better than the competition. My priorities are peace and quiet, followed by quality food and something to drink (I’m not a heavy drinker so one decent option is enough), good service also welcome. I suspect everyone else preferring CX/QF is benefiting me, as it means more space (and quiet) where I can enjoy it.
