I'm a bit short for keeping my MP Gold status this year, so I'm trying to book a PQP run (no more PTO for a real trip). I found a Swiss Air run, flight LX17 (Dec 11) + LX18 (Dec 14), which appears to be class 'S' on ITA Matrix (matches the fare for Economy Light). However, I want to check my skis so I was planning to book Economy Basic instead. Does anyone know if I get more MP PQP for booking Economy Basic? Is there a better way to determine the fare class ahead of time, or do I need to book the ticket to see the fare class on Swiss Air? The other discounted Economy fare classes on ITA Matrix don't seem to match the Economy Basic fare. Does that mean Economy Basic is also fare class 'S' and I would get the same number of PQPs as Economy Light if I credit the flights to MP? TIA!
