What's the ruling on the day of flight? I know the computer purges the MVP/MVPG que for upgrades the day before the flight (is that at 36 hrs?).

1. When do F seats turn to U seats?

2. If he checks in online at the 24 hr mark & there just happens to be an open F seat, can he buy up to first class online?

3. What if he checks in at an ITM at 12:01 am the day of his flight and there's an F seat, he can upgrade then with a credit card, right?

4. How about if he shows up at the airport at 12:01 am the day of his flight and there happens to be one F seat, can he use his same day upgrade coupon at the CS desk?

5. What if an MVPG/MVP notices there is an available U seat within 36 hours of departure, can they call the MVP desk and take it? Or do they need to go to an ITM to get it?
