YTD January - July, AS's ontime performance (76.9%) was above the US average of 75.5%. Booking away from AS doesn't increase your overall odds of arriving at your destination on time. Travel insurance is always a good idea, regardless of carrier.
Twice in one year is pretty bad though. And OTP vs the US3 isn’t exactly a good comparison given where the hubs are
