If the connection wasn't 45 minutes I would seriously consider ORD connection in first for 19K, that is a pretty nice deal. But the 45 minute connection plus the taxi delay issue at ORD especially in the evenings leads me to favor the 7K in MCE in this situation and hope for a relatively cheap upgrade.
