Yes, we had the same worries too. At the end of the day, we all hear about the negative things a lot more than the positive in the media. So a bias does exist. Even with that, we were worried about taking her on this trip. The thing that gave us confidence was that she had to travel before from Dubai to Germany as part of her rescue journey. So she was acclimated to traveling by air, and has shown great resilience during travel by car and ship with us.

Also, sometimes, we can do everything in the best way possible and things can still go wrong. One of our previous dogs we left at home with a very loving sitter, and they both had a great time together. But even then, sadly, it was our dog's time and she passed away. So, hold or home, when it is time, it is time. The best any of us can do is to take the most sensible decision based on the situation at the time.

The goal for posting this here is to show people it can go well for your pets in hold too, and give a real experience of what it is like. There was not enough information online when we searched, so leaving it for the next people just made sense.
