It seems that Air France and all ground staff involved handled this in the best way possible - and you certainly made sure to prepare the long journey for sweet Nova the best you could. I would personally still be a bit terrified to check my pets into the hold of a plane given some of the horror stories we can all occasionally read in the news, but this will surely reassure many people, alongside the many helpful tips.
