I doubt its going to matter much. AS seems to be doing premium pricing on its existing INTL routes and/or their IT systems are so badly setup that they are just generating high prices. I give it less than few years before they start cutting many of their limited INTL routes as well. Super easy upgrades with certs on those because who in their right mind would pay the same to fly AS/HA vs. JAL or JX.
