I have connected on AS @ SAN twice. Well, I booked connections twice, once, despite allowing ample time for my HNL connection, I barely had time for a pit stop before my next flight was boarding. Second, I was going to misconnect despite having ample original connection time booked, and AS put me on UA nonstop from SFO. Accordingly, I never had the opportunity to complain about the lounge situation.
