paulg0 , in what country do you and your housemate reside? BAC members who reside in the U.S. can avail themselves of binding consumer arbitration, which would cost BA thousands of dollars in fees if BA does not settle before arbitration occurs. (The cost to the consumer to file an arbitration "demand" is about 200 USD.) Not sure whether arbitration is an option in your country of residence.
