This is a good idea to see if it works. However in general, even if the hotel lets you try to use the 10 NUA’s in one stay, the chance is very slim if will clear since the upgrade room has to be available for the whole stay. Most of my best upgrades are with 1-3 night stays.

It is hard to use 10 in one year even on separate stays since they have to clear.
