My friend travels frequently, I don't think she focuses on any particular airline, and I asked her if she'd pay $1000 a year for lounge access and she said yes. So maybe a high-end credit card, except that her credit stinks. I guess she could buy an airline club but presumably that would only work when she's flying that airline, and she clearly doesn't want to buy three memberships.
Any ideas?
I don't think it would work to have me get a credit card and make her an AU, because I don't think AU's get lounge access (and I'm blackballed from Chase and Capital One anyway from my MS days).
If this belongs in a better (i.e. non-carrier specific forum), please relocate.
Is her credit repairable, or is that a lost cause? And how does she pay for her airline tickets?
Otherwise, a Priority Pass annual membership might make sense -- although you and/or she should download the Priority Pass app to see whether PP has lounges (or participating restaurants) in the airports she frequents. PP is represented at both DFW and LAS, and I recently accessed PP lounges at SYR and PHL, the latter being a Chase Sapphire lounge, to which PP members get *one* annual visit across the CS lounge network.
