Lounge Access with bad credit
Not sure this is the best place to post this, but it arose from a friend calling me who is currently delayed on AA (DFW-LAS).
My friend travels frequently, I don't think she focuses on any particular airline, and I asked her if she'd pay $1000 a year for lounge access and she said yes. So maybe a high-end credit card, except that her credit stinks. I guess she could buy an airline club but presumably that would only work when she's flying that airline, and she clearly doesn't want to buy three memberships.
Any ideas?
I don't think it would work to have me get a credit card and make her an AU, because I don't think AU's get lounge access (and I'm blackballed from Chase and Capital One anyway from my MS days).
