Has anyone ever flown BUR-ATL? All throughout October and now the forthcoming menus in November show only two (horrible) options in First: Choice of Black Pepper Turkey Sandwich - Gouda cheese, mustard, pickles; or Spinach Artichoke Melt - Swiss, provolone, mushrooms, onion jam. Does anyone know if we'll get the email a week ahead with other preorder-only options?

I will be flying this route in a few weeks and this flight is nearly 5 hours long. It is depressing to think we will get turkey sandwiches in First Class. I know these are first world problems, but the flight was not cheap. Is it because BUR is not a catering airport, so they can only get their mind around serving sandwiches that are loaded in ATL? If AA can load full meals to be cooked for all legs of their DFW-BUR-DFW routes, why can't DL? If I pull up the menu for the outbound flight, ATL-BUR, there are several normal hot meal options.
