It looks like the Citi ThankYou MasterCard will have a reward structure that will be a close equivalent to whatever Citi card that it was product changed from. The old Sears MasterCard only had 1x on everything so the resulting Citi TY MasterCard will only have 1x on everything. The SYW card had the 5/3/2/1 structure so maybe the resulting Citi TY MasterCard will have the same 5/3/2/1 structure as well.

I'm not sure which Citi Retail Service card that had been shut down in the past that originally have 2x on department stores, grocery, drugstores, and gas stations as a reward structure. I'm betting that the Citi TY MasterCard is going to be the main generic card that Citi product changes any Citi Retail Service card that will be no longer available while adding new reward structures that correspond to the original Citi Retail Service card.
