But last Friday when I chased, I was told that it had been sent to BA for approval but airlines are busy with rebooking due to US cancellations related to the government shutdown. Seems odd that BA agents are so swamped by US domestic cancellations that they can’t get to this for over a week…?
My issue is that there is exactly 1 seat on each TATL flight and this will eventually go to 0 and I’ll be out of luck. I tried to get GGL to take rue ticket over but agent I got said they could only do this within 24 hours of travel. Is it worth trying again? Or can I ask to have someone make this a priority?
Or any other suggestions?
your choice to go with a TA, cheaper ticket? Anyhow in the main not BA’s problem atm. Your TA needs to sort at this point. For clarity when the BA agent brings up your booking it will clearly state it’s a TA booking, hence the response you got from GGL.
