There have been controversies about the organization regarding the risks put upon the workers when delivering aid, but again… this probably isn’t the forum to unpack that.
Delta clearly partnered with him for his brand recognition (and undoubtedly a lot of people love his restaurants). I’ve mentioned this new partnership to several people over the past two days and the response I’ve gotten from everyone has been very positive. I think this is a marketing win for Delta.
