OK. This is (or rather should be) a huge reason for outrage. What, specifically, is the benefit of my flying B6 if I can't get UA PQP? Yeah ok, blah blah redeemable. But as a BOS based flyer, this doesn't incent me to fly B6 instead of DL on those routes.
Shrug, I'm just happy we get UA miles instead of Jetblue ones which I will likely never be able to use in a meaningful way. Between the +1 and I, that's 12k or so extra UA miles on our upcoming Mint flight I wouldn't have otherwise gotten. I'd love to be able to transfer Jetblue points to UA miles in the future, too.
