As non-star hub based, this is by far still the most interesting star alliance offer for me because of this change.
Especially also given the moves they appear to be making.
If only they would offer lifetime star gold, that would be perfection.

Also, agree that the earnings ratio is not as great as many other cards out there but - at least for most of Europe - it's still highly competitve.
Ratio tends to be better then AMEX + its debit + the mulitpliers (x2 Skyscanner atm, so x3 points for purchase only and then also the miles through the airline programme).
Also things like Uniqlo being x10, Nike x20, Uber x10, UberEats/grubhub, hotels etc.
My main worry is consistency in such offerings from Revolut, as these shops refresh every week. But given the announcement from Aegean, I hope that this will indicate a durable and long lasting partnership.
