Chatted AS like seven hours ago, finally got a response and responded within a minute, then immediately told the chat ended because they didn't receive a reply. Then a third message told me the estimated wait time is 11 hours 1 minute.

Flying AS19 JFK-PDX this afternoon to reposition for another flight and while it's still "on" I am feeling a lot of anxiety since they've been cancelling morning flights. Unsure if I should book with another carrier at this point--my original flight is round trip and booked with a discount code I received for being on a cancelled flight back in July so I am not eligible for a refund either. sigh.
