I did LHR-DXB-LHR every week for about two months a few years ago.

Absolutely not an issue, apart from the cost of course. I started off doing it via BA, but got tired of late departures and late arrivals. I therefore switched to Emirates, and that issue was then not a factor. Also being able to use the Smart Gates at DXB and E-Gates at LHR made it more bearable too.

I would mention I flew Business Class each time. If I was doing the same weekly route in Economy, my views may well have been different.
