Yeah, I agree. We usually try to go separately, but we always use the foreigner line, so I'm readily available in case of any questions.
That's an interesting tip about the separate lines.
We'll give that a go in the future to see what happens. My friend should be able to travel on her own, given her travel history, but she's super nervous about immigration at the moment.
My guess is she knows someone who just got offloaded, so it's fresh in her mind.
But the topic was more about the booking strategy. Points seem the way to go, but I wanted to see if there were any other options I missed.
I would do QR or EK, but those seats are tiny and don't even get me started on 5J.
