I've managed to clear security and enter CX Pier First lounge about 5h before using online check-in - it was in between the 2 QR flights so the counters were not manned. Just carry on luggage
Had to visit the gate prior to get my document checked - lots of CX uniform standing around but they had to wait for a specific colleague to show up to check my passport, and that dude was also wearing CX uniform (?!?!)
On CX uniform - QR used HAS as ground agent in Hong Kong, and HAS is owned by CX. I remember in the past the HAS agent wore differently from CX own agents (although with similar colour scheme)...
