I don't care about nameplates on cars, but the base trim nonsense is really starting to grind my gears. I'm renting a car to drive it, stop buying trims missing basic QOL features like radar cruise control.

I'm seeing a lot more Mazdas and Hondas in the aisles lately. I appreciate this because even the base trims in these are pretty well equipped.
