Suffered a missed connection to JFK at CDG following irrops at AMS a couple of weekends ago. AF desk couldn’t get me on a replacement flight til next day and gave me a voucher for the Appart’City Collection in Roissy.

Claims to be 4* but I wasn’t impressed . Waited ages for their shuttle. First room they sent me to was occupied (not sure who was more surprised, me or the guy I disturbed) and room I ended up in was grubby with cheap fixtures and fittings. No shuttle the next day (limited hours of operation) so ended up in an Uber back to CDG.

Will be asking if I can book my own room next time, if this is the standard they make available.
