It's moot now because HA and AS lifetime miles have been combined toward lifetime Atmos status, but some of the discussion above (mine included) conflates multiple ways of "counting" toward MMer status. I think the following is an accurate summary:

• HA lifetime status was created some time after the merger closed and included only miles flown on and credited to HA (apparently including 500-mile minimums and COS bonuses)
• Miles flown on HA and credited to AS counted toward AS lifetime status from the time it became possible to credit HA flights to AS
• Miles flown on HA and credited to HA counted toward HA status until the plan merger, then were combined with lifetime AS miles toward Atmos MMer status

I don't know how/when miles flown on AS and credited to HA were counted.
