I am currently in Premium Select (A) for the return leg of a trip I am on at the moment. In the Delta app today I saw an upgrade for $999/99k which is tempting enough for me to pull the trigger. When I tried it took me to the seatmap and all the D1 seats were either blocked or occupied. I tried this on the website as well (screenshots below) so it doesn't appear to be an app issue. Any ideas?
Are you on a roundtrip booking? You can see from the small print that the offer is for the AMS-TPA direction of travel. Did you actually bring up the seatmap for the AMS-TPA flight, or is this seatmap for a TPA-AMS flight? If it's the correct flight selected, there will be a price/mileage amount showing under the Show Price in $USD/Miles slider like below.
