Lost luggage: Anything I can or should do?

My dad flew BER-ZRH-AGP on 10/19/2025. He had three identical totes as checked bags that we checked in the night before. All three bags never made it to AGP and as it turns out where never loaded on the first flight out of BER. On Tuesday, 10/21 we got an update that the bags where located in Berlin and would be sent to AGP on LX971 and LX2120. The baggage status page shows the new rush tags as well as the fact that the bags have been "last checked in" at BER on 10/21. Since then we have not heard anything.

Any advice on what we could do other than wait. Is it worthwhile to call LX or Groundforce in AGP and try to get a status update or is that a waste of time? At this point I am not so much concerned and more annoyed by the fact that LX is unable to get three totes to AGP in a reasonable time. It would also be a different story if one bag was missing but the fact that they seem to be unable to get the process going with three identical bags is strange…
