Glad my status match came through just in time for my TATL trip, but I this may be the only time I bother crediting to M&M. My LAX-LHR in PE on UA earned an acceptable 5450 miles & 200 points, but my return from ZRH-LAX in Y on LX earned a measly 324 miles and 60 points. I wasn't expecting a lot of miles on a flight in Y, but 5% on a M&M airline feels like a slap in the face. Fortunately, my TK status is already protected until at least 2028.
Because on LH group airlines, flying in economy in discounted fare earns almost nothing. The PE is getting quite resonable miles, but it is just a little less expensive than discounted business. Moreover the miles credited across all fares are quite low (compared to previous charts from 2023). There is a promotion for this autumn, where you can get extra QPoints on interconti flights. Also if you choose Green fare you can benefit on earning up to 80% more points and QP. Finally, you can offset the already flown flights, where you can also get many extra points. I can understand that flying on other M&M partners or other *A airlines can be frustrating as the earning charts can defer quite a lot from those from the operating airlines' FF programmes, but same applies v/v.
