To say that is really unfortunate is even underselling it imo! I am flying QR767/768 in December so I've been tracking tail numbers since 11-Dec-24. Every single day between 11-Dec-24 and 30-Sep-25 was a 42J QSuite plane, not a single instance of getting Qatar'd. Then they swapped to the 24J QSuite on 1-Oct and it has been alternating A7-BAY and A7-BEC since then, minus that calamity on 19-Oct.
It will be interesting to see how QR treats this route since next week starts daily service (up from 5 per week) and they have swapped to a high density config for the holiday season. They clearly prioritized the QSuite on this previously, but cutting business down by 18 seats and MiniPods for the first time in over a year is not promising...
