Up until the end of last year if I recall, there used to be verbiage on the lounge passes page that stated do not share your membership number with the guest you gave the passes to. Happened to me a couple of times when I was in Hawaiian and received 3 or 4 AM calls from the pass holder at LAX and SFO requesting my # for the lounge agent. I got a screenshot or printed the page somewhere.
