- Same dates, YVR always had roasted potatoes. YYC had some kind of diced/roasted potatoes on the 8th, then "Potatoes O'Brien" (same roasted potatoes with peppers and maybe onions?) on the 19th and 20th, but today hash brown patties (which are the best)
- YWG MLL had exactly the same midday food offerings every time except yesterday, when the soups changed over, and I think there was something else different. Although they still put out the "tomato ravioli soup" sign for what was clearly now minestrone
They don't seem to have all changed things on the same day, and things don't seem to rotate based on day of the week. Is it as simple as they use something up and switch whenever they run out?
Sliders at YYC are still by far the best food in the MLL network.
I was talking to the staff at YVR Dom one day and they told me their various types of chicken thighs are on a two week rotation, I don't think I asked about the sides though.
YYC Sliders are great, but I remember in the first few years after the lounge reno when they had different meals each day. I remember freshly carved beef a couple of times, or just other variety. Still great to have fresh anything mind you.
If only they'd make fresh coffee/espresso drinks in go to cups like the YYZ Cafe.
I remember a few years ago WS doing a quarterly food survey and presenting a bunch of options to see what recent lounge visitors might want to eat. That was neat to get. Maybe one day AC will do similar.
