It appears the LAX-AKL is on the 777-200 (not sure if Business is Flagship), and the DFW-AKL is on the 787-9 (Flagship Business). I found a review on the 787-9 but not the 777-200. Any thoughts about the comparison? Seems like there's a few different seat types on 777-200's and I'm having trouble finding which one this is.
I would be going BOI-PHX-LAX-AKL or BOI-DFW-AKL at the very end of the year.

All longhaul international business class is "Flagship"; The LAX-AKL flight will be "Flagship" regardless of which 772 config you get, which you won't know until 24-48 hrs before departure.
All else being equal I would go DFW given those choices. One less connection and the DFW-AKL flight on the 789 will for sure have one of AA's best business cabins with no risk of getting a forward/backward 772.
