For what it's worth, both the JetBlue and United sites have rolled out silent updates that demonstrate that the capability is coming... sometime soon.
In the past 1-2 weeks, united.com was updated to include new B6-exclusive destinations like Ponce (PSE) and Vero Beach (VRB), and jetblue.com now shows a lot of new UA-exclusive destinations like Kaohsiung (KHH), Pohnpei (PNI), and Arcata-Eureka (ACV). Likewise, you can now add your UA MP # on jetblue.com, and United now has a dropdown to allow for B6 TrueBlue numbers to be added to their reservations at check-out as well.
I'd assume the launch of reciprocal loyalty earn/burn is thus imminent (perhaps an announcement in 1-2 weeks?), but I agree it's weird we haven't heard anything yet.
