Ive submitted a formal complaint a family member was with me when I called and looked over and wondered why all the personal questions too so it wasn't just me. After the call I have had time to think about it and don't feel any better. I didn't give them the extra information they were demanding so at least Im a bit more relaxed from that point of view.
All that nonsense just to add a bag thats part of my benefits anyway its ridiculous. I will call back tonight and hope to get the US crowd otherwise turn up at the airport and if Im charged excess will claim it back. Subject to the explanation I get from Aer Lingus I may take it further. I wont accept lame excuses.
The sooner Aer Lingus enable all these things online and improve their IT the better so I can bypass the Egyptian call centre.
