The Emily Morgan (Doubletree) is really interesting if you are adventurous! You can look it up on YouTube to find it’s one of the most haunted hotels in North America! My husband and I were not aware of this until we had a strange experience in our room when the jacuzzi tub turned itself on.

The weekend after Thanksgiving is usually the Christmas parade on the River. I really recommend San Antonio when the Christmas lights are up. That’s the best time to see it.

if you’re doing 6-7 days you could go to all the Missions and maybe go up to Fredericksburg and see some of the Hill Country too (Wimberley, Johnson City, lots of wineries). There’s a Hampton Inn in Fredericksburg.
