Nice (NCE) really doesn't have a great lounge - it's always stuffy, the toilets often smell of drains, the layout is awkward and the food is certainly not the best of France - unless you love items like sweaty olives, mini glasses of KP style salted nuts and dried up canapes with paste on top of even Haribo type sweets. They sometimes have a selection of cheese but generally it is just those blocks of brie and some dried up bread. And if the Emirates or Qatar flight is departing around the same time as you (I can't remember if it is Dubai or Doha), the lounge will almost be standing room only. Maybe I fly at the wrong times and need to see if it is better earlier in the day!
This isn't about being fussy but more about how most BA overseas lounges are not quite the pre-flight space they advertise.
