There are no COS bonuses for points/milage redemptions on AS or their partners. Paid tickets get COS applied, but not for awards/redemptions. Redemptions earn a simple 1 EQM/status point per mile flown (with no 500 mile minimum per segment) regardless of the cabin booked, so know you’re just paying/redeeming more for your comfort.
